Kojima Sohonten of Yonezawa, Yamagata, founded 1597, is the 13th-oldest sake brewery in Japan and produces the Toko brand. Toko Sun Rise is a junmai ginjo with grassy, floral and green-fruit notes; the Ultraluxe junmai daiginjo uses top-grade Yamada Nishiki. Toko exports to the US, UK, Italy, Canada, Germany and many other markets. Imported in the US via Kome Collective and others.
